Keeping up with... Us!

Hi! Hubby and I were just married May 2011 in Savannah, GA, and are enjoying married life tremendously! Whoever said the first year of marriage was the hardest must have been joking! This has never felt more comfortable! Of course maybe we just haven't hit those speed bumps yet...

In August of 2011, we moved into this fantastic little house we rented in an eclectic little neighborhood on the east side of Atlanta called Kirkwood. For a home tour, click here. Now that phase of life has passed by us (too short in my opinion) and we moved all the way across the United States to try out the west coast life. We rented a super cute little house in North Central Phoenix, AZ with a pool! (!!) I love having a clean slate to let my greenhorn design ideas run rampant! But budget and space constraints pose a problem. I can dream right? I love simplicity but live in a cluttered world.

We quite possibly have the best dog in the world but I might be slightly biased...

About me:
I like to cook but I am not very good at it. I get ideas from Bobby, Alton, Rachel and Lisa on the Food Network and try to recreate them in our kitchen. Disasterous messes ensue more often than not! Hubby is a good sport and eats everything I put on the table with a smile and a compliment. And then he does the dishes! I have the best hubby in the world! I love all things nutrition and love to further my knowledge on the subject. I have a million bajillion things to on my reading queue but i seem to always be short on time. I LOVE DIY projects and being crafty . Hubby gets dragged into a lot of my grandeur ideas but at least he ends up with a shiny new tool after 3-4 hours at the Depot!
